The Serenity Place Dock on Julienton River is 500 feet from Coast Cabin.   The upper covered deck area has hammocks, lounge chairs, ceiling fans, rocking chairs, dining table and chairs, plus two  sinks for cleaning fish.

The 55 footfloating dock has 17 feet of water at low tide.   You have dock privileges for your boat or you can arrange with charter captains to take you fishing or exploring the island beaches.

Guest Comments:   6-29-2008     Hello Lin -   Our family thoroughly enjoyed the Coast Cabin for our stay ---   we are talking about future "meet-togethers" there - very possibly for Thanksgiving.

The Coast Cabin was simple, clean,   comfortable and complete!   We loved it.   And the use of the dock was terrific -- missed the golf cart!!! Didn't realize we could have used that, but we will certainly keep that in mind for our next visit. We fell in love with and want to learn more about the Shellman Bluff area, and that means we will definitely be back.  Ben (our Springer Spaniel) felt very comfortable there, and quickly became the "porch master" letting anyone who passed by know that he was in the house!   Thank you for a seamless, effortless mini-vacation.       B.
