OUR HOME IS SOUTH OF SAVANNAH AND NORTH OF BRUNSWICK.  WE ARE

LOCATED NEAR SHELLMAN BLUFF, JUST 10 MINUTES FROM I-95, EXIT 67

 

Life is good here at Serenity Place at Pleasure Bluff.  Savannah and Brunswick are only 40 miles from us. There are many historical sites along the coast and can be reached in one hour or less by car. The Julienton and Sapelo Rivers provide changing panoramic scenes and you can just relax in the hammocks and enjoy the view from the Serenity Place dock.

 

The Pleasure Bluff community has private lots with cottages, cabins, and mobile homes that are all privately owned and the roads are private.  There are only four owners that live here full time. The other owners use their places infrequently, therefore we are located in a private community which is not crowded or busy and makes for a great retreat.  I am looking forward to sharing my little piece of heaven with you when you visit Serenity Place.

DIRECTIONS IF TRAVELING SOUTH OF SAVANNAH ON I-95, 

FROM  EXIT 67 AT SOUTH NEWPORT IT IS ABOUT 10 MILES TO SERENITY PLACE.

 

NOTE:  Along this route there are signs advertising:

Shellman Bluff Masonic Home, Cooper’s Point at Shellman Bluff 

 and Sapelo Hammock Golf Club.

 

GET OFF I-95 AT EXIT 67 AND GO SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 17 FOR 2.7 MILES,

TURN LEFT ONTO MINTON ROAD  (BETWEEN TWO OLD BUILDINGS)

 

CONTINUE ON MINTON RD. FOR ABOUT 3 MILES UNTIL IT DEAD ENDS INTO SHELLMAN BLUFF RD., TURN LEFT ON SHELLMAN BLUFF RD.

 

CONTINUE ON SHELLMAN BLUFF ROAD AND CROSS THE WHITE CHIMMNEY CREEK BRIDGE CONTINUE  PASS CLYDE'S MARKET ON THE LEFT, AT THE 3 WAY  STOP SIGN,  TURN  LEFT  TOWARD  DALLAS BLUFF, (DO NOT TAKE THE HARD LEFT), GO 6/10 MILE,

 

GO PASS “CONTENTMENT BLUFF  CAMPGROUND”  AND TURN RIGHT ON THE FIRST DIRT ROAD, MAGNOLIA STREET,  (AT NIGHT LOOK FOR THE RED REFLECTORS ON THE LIVE OAK TREE),  FOLLOW THE DIRT TRAIL (ABOUT 2 CITY BLOCKS DISTANCE)  AND YOU WILL COME TO JULIENTON RIVER, TURN LEFT AND SERENITY PLACE IS THE BRICK TWO STORY HOME ON THE RIVER WITH THE LIVE OAK TREES OUT FRONT.  YOU CAN PARK ON THE SIDE NEXT TO THE BRICK FENCE.

 

DIRECTIONS IF TRAVELING NORTH ON I-95,

Directions from Florida and Brunswick Ga.

 

Travel I-95 North. Take exit 58.

Turn right onto Hwy 99,

 at 4 way STOP SIGN  turn left onto  US-17,

travel  North on US-17 approx 2 miles,  

 at EL CHEAPO  gas station turn right onto PINE HARBOR ROAD. 

about 1000 feet turn left onto **YOUNGMAN ROAD  / SHELLMAN BLUFF RD.

 you will pass Lockwood Marine and CLYDE'S MARKET at  the next STOP SIGN turn left toward Dallas Bluff ,

 GO 6/10 MILE AND YOU WILL PASS “CONTENTMENT BLUFF  CAMPGROUND”  AND TURN RIGHT ON  THE FIRST DIRT ROAD. It is MAGNOLIA STREET,  FOLLOW THE DIRT TRAIL (ABOUT 2 CITY BLOCKS DISTANCE)  AND YOU WILL COME TO JULIENTON RIVER,

 

(AT NIGHT LOOK FOR THE RED REFLECTORS ON THE LIVE OAK TREE), 

 

AT THE RIVER, TURN LEFT AND SERENITY PLACE IS THE BRICK TWO STORY HOME ON THE RIVER WITH THE LIVE OAK TREES OUT FRONT.

 YOU CAN PARK ON THE SIDE NEXT TO THE BRICK FENCE.

SCENIC ROUTE FROM  BRUNSWICK  OR JEKYLL ISLAND

If you prefer a scenic route you can just stay on US 17 NORTH from Brunswick, go through Darien, Skippers on the River in Darien has good lunch, continue North on us 17 thru Eulonia   at the El Cheapo gas station turn right onto Pine Harbour Rd.  about 1000 feet turn left onto Youngman Road/ Shellman Bluff Rd continue and  you will pass Lockwood Marine and CLYDE'S MARKET at  the next STOP sign turn left toward Dallas Bluff , go 6/10 of a mile AND YOU WILL PASS “CONTENTMENT BLUFF  CAMPGROUND”  AND TURN RIGHT ON THE FIRST DIRT ROAD, MAGNOLIA STREET,  (AT NIGHT LOOK FOR THE RED REFLECTORS ON THE LIVE OAK TREE),  FOLLOW THE DIRT TRAIL (ABOUT 2 CITY BLOCKS DISTANCE)  AND YOU WILL COME TO JULIENTON RIVER, TURN LEFT AND SERENITY PLACE IS THE BRICK TWO STORY HOME ON THE RIVER WITH THE LIVE OAK TREES OUT FRONT.  YOU CAN PARK ON THE SIDE NEXT TO THE BRICK FENCE.
